The use of technology has become an integral part of our lives. Our increasing dependence on technology consolidates itself as a powerful platform that has revolution ised the way we do business and communicate with people, leaving us in the open to threats of cybercrime. Youth of today is obsessed with the internet, social media and mobile phones. Today, technology has a positive as well as negative side too. Nowadays, cyber crimes have become an integral part of our daily life and they are increasing in number every day.

‘Shortcut’ is a film based on Cyber Crime. Directed and Scripted by debut Director Harish Raut. Coming under the banner of M K Motion Pictures and Chitrakar Films, it’s being produced by Mukesh Chaudhary and B R Dedhia. Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Sanskruti Balgude and Rajesh Shringarpure are seen as the lead cast in the film. The film is a combination of action, thriller and romance.

The film revolves around the story of a young computer engineer Rohit Pradhan – Vaibhav Tatwawadi, a 20 year old boy who lacks interest in hobbies and communication skills. He never felt his existence is the society because he never managed to create his own identity amongst his friends and people around him. On the other side, he is an expert in computer commands and hacking.

In the search for his identity he meets Ishika – Sanskruti Balgude, a beautiful and intelligent girl with a lovely smile. To impress Ishika, Rohit uses his incredible hacking skills. By using his knowledge and expertise in hacking, he goes on to hack a leading radio station system which makes him win a band new expensive car as the contest prize. With this new car and all new avatar, Rohit Proposes Ishika.

When everything is going good, enters ACP Rajesh Nimbalkar – Rajesh Shringarpure who puts him under the charges of being the most wanted cyber criminal, with his IP address as evidence against him.
